Product Overview

The Guardian Duo is a two-wire Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) system designed to provide audible and vibrotactile crossing information to pedestrians at signalized intersections. The system utilizes existing field wiring between the traffic cabinet and push button stations, allowing simplified installation while maintaining full accessibility functionality.

Guardian Duo stations provide locator tones, audible walk messages, and vibrotactile feedback to assist pedestrians with visual impairments. The system can be configured using the PedConnex utility via Bluetooth or USB-C connection.

The Guardian Duo system consists of three primary components:

• Guardian Duo Accessible Push Button (APB)

• Duo Controller

• Duo Power Supply
