Guardian® Mini
Guardian Mini is a compact independent APS retrofitting existing ADA push buttons with plug-and-play installation, 4-wire operation, and PedConnex configuration support.

Overview
The Guardian® Mini is a compact independent Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) designed to upgrade standard pedestrian push-button intersections to modern APS functionality. The unit installs using existing ADA push-button mounting holes, allowing intersections to be upgraded without additional drilling or major infrastructure changes.
The Guardian Mini operates as a 4-wire APS system, connecting the pedestrian station to a Signal Power Interface (SPI) installed inside the pedestrian signal head. This architecture allows the system to operate independently without requiring additional equipment in the traffic control cabinet.
The device provides audible and vibrotactile pedestrian indications that comply with accessibility standards and improve intersection usability for pedestrians with visual impairments.
The enclosure is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, injection-molded thermoplastic, and stainless steel hardware, providing a highly durable and vandal-resistant pedestrian station designed for long-term outdoor installations.
